Refund policy: 1/2 of the registration fee ($ 102.50) will be refunded after the pre- registration deadline and no refund will be given after the start date of the school.

Any student requesting ADA accommodations must make that request at the time of completing the application/registration, and support the request with the appropriate documentation sent to the Director of Coaching, Said application/registration must be completed no later than six (6) weeks prior to the school opening in order to ensure the availability of any such reasonable accommodations or other required assistance during the Level 1 coaching school.


From the East: Take 1-80W toward Wisconsin/Iowa/IL-83. Merge onto I-355 N/Veterans Memorial Tollway via Exit 140 toward West Suburbs. Take the Maple Ave. exit. Keep left to take the ramp toward Lisle/Naperville. Turn left onto Maple Ave. Turn left onto College Rd.  5700 College Road is on the right.
From the West: Take I-88 East to and exit toward Naperville Rd. Turn right onto Freedom Drive and then left onto E. Diehl Rd. Turn right onto N. Naperville Rd./N. Naper Blvd/ N. Naperville Wheaton Rd. and continue to follow N. Naper Rd. Turn left onto Maple and right onto College. 5700 College Rd. is on the right.
From the South: Take I-65 N toward Chicago. Merge onto I-80 W/I-94 W/US-6 W via Exit 259A toward Chicago. Keep left to take I-80 W toward Wisconsin-Iowa/IL-83/Torrence Ave. Merge onto I-355 N/Veterans Memorial Tollway via Exit 140 toward West Suburbs. Take the Maple Ave. exit. Keep left to take the ramp toward Lisle/Naperville. Turn left onto Maple Ave. Turn left onto College Rd.  5700 College Road is on the right.
Goodwin Hall (listed as Building 83 on the campus map) is located in the center of campus. Parking is available in the lot just south of the main entrance or in the parking garage (#7 on the map).

David Pavlansky: was head boys' track and cross country coach at Boardman High School from 1999 –2010.  Twice named OAT&CCC District 1 Boys' Track Coach of the Year, Dave received the 2007 Fred Daffler State Coach of the Year Award for Boys' Cross Country.  In 2007 he was among 10 sprint coaches selected nationwide by the USATF to attend the Emerging Elite Coaches' School in Orlando, Florida.  During Dave’s 12-year tenure Boardman teams won 6 League and 7 District Championships, produced individual Indoor and Outdoor state champions, and developed two Nike All-Americans.  Dave has USATF Level 2 certifications in Jumps, Endurance, and Sprints / Hurdles / Relays and he currently serves as USATF Regional Coordinator of Coaching Education for the Midwest.
Dr. Matt Lydum: is the Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. Previously he has served in head coaching positions at Pendleton High School, San Francisco State University and Defiance College in Ohio. He was the NCAA DII Regional Coach of the Year and has represented the USOC at the International Olympic Academy.  He has worked with numerous NAIA & NCAA DII & DIII All-Americans. Lydum has served as Assistant Coach on international USATF Youth teams and has completed the USATF Coaching Education Level 2 Program in Sprints, Hurdles, Relays; Jumps; Combined events, and Throws. Dr. Lydum also coordinates the Level 2 – Youth Specialization.

Marshall Milbrath: is an assistant professor of exercise and sport studies at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois and has eight years of coaching experience in high school and college settings with endurance and throwing athletes. Milbrath, a doctoral candidate in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Northern Colorado, and holds masters degrees in both curriculum & instruction (Concordia Univ.) and exercise physiology (Univ. of Virginia). He has presented internationally and published nationally on various sport coaching topics and maintains research interests in training assessment, decision-making during coaching, and social justice through sport. As a professor, Marshall currently teaches topics in exercise testing and prescription, and strength and conditioning. Marshall is USATF Level 2 certified in the Endurance; Sprints, Hurdles and Relays, and Throwing events.
