This event follows the New Balance Outdoor Championships which conclude on Sunday, June 18th.

Registration Information

$190.00 - Pre-registration (received by midnight (EST) June 4, 2017)
$240.00 - Late and on-site registration (received after midnight (EST) June 4, 2017)

All online and onsite registrations require a credit or debit card for payment. No cash or personal checks will be accepted.

Refund policy:  1/2 of the registration fee ($ 95.00) will be refunded after the pre- registration deadline and no refund will be given after the start date of the school.

Any student requesting ADA accommodations must make that request at the time of completing the application/registration, and support the request with the appropriate documentation sent to the Director of Coaching, Said application/registration must be completed no later than six (6) weeks prior to the school opening in order to ensure the availability of any such reasonable accommodations or other required assistance during the Level 1 coaching school.

Updated Parking at the University
Most convenient parking for Level 1 students is in the Oakland Avenue Parking Deck referenced in the Driving Directions link above. This is a pay deck with a maximum charge of $7.00/day. There is free street parking if you can find it, however the University enforces parking regulations vigorously and they vigilantly issue citations, tow, and/or immobilize illegally-parked cars. Carefully observe all posted regulations. For more information, visit the Parking Services office, located in the Walker Ave parking deck, or call them on 336-334-5681.

David Pavlansky: was head boys' track and cross country coach at Boardman High School from 1999 –2010.  Twice named OAT&CCC District 1 Boys' Track Coach of the Year, Dave received the 2007 Fred Daffler State Coach of the Year Award for Boys' Cross Country.  In 2007 he was among 10 sprint coaches selected nationwide by the USATF to attend the Emerging Elite Coaches' School in Orlando, Florida.  During Dave’s tenure Boardman teams produced both Indoor and Outdoor state champions as well as two Nike All-Americans.  Dave has USATF Level 2 certifications in Jumps, Endurance, and Sprints / Hurdles / Relays and he currently serves as USATF Regional Coordinator of Coaching Education for the Midwest and East

Andrew Allden: Currently head coach of the women’s cross country team at the University of South Carolina, Andrew Allden will be the school’s Endurance instructor.  He is a Level 1 and Level 2 Endurance instructor and has 19 years experience as a Division I collegiate coach.  He has coached a Division I Men’s National Champion in the 800m and in 2003 was named Southeast Men’s Coach of the Year.

Mike Judge: Head Coach for Throw 1 Deep Club in Marietta, Georgia, Judge has coached multiple state and national champions in the throws and is an expert in training for speed and power events. Coach Judge was the 2013 NASF national high school coach of the year.  He has his USATF Level 3/IAAF Level V certification in throws and is also an instructor for the USATF Level 2 Program.

Shawn Venable: Assistant Coach at Liberty University, Shawn is in charge of the jumps and hurdles events. He has coached several All-Americans and conference champions in the Sprinting and Jumping events. Venable has earned three IAAF Level V/USATF Level 3 Coaching Education certifications (the highest attainable), in the jumping events (2013), sprints/hurdles events (2014) and the combined events (2015).
