All online and onsite registrations require a credit or debit card for payment. No cash or personal checks will be accepted.

Refund policy:  1/2 of the registration fee ($ 95.00) will be refunded after the pre- registration deadline and no refund will be given after the start date of the school.

Any student requesting ADA accommodations must make that request at the time of completing the application/registration, and support the request with the appropriate documentation sent to the Director of Coaching, terry.crawford@usatf.org. Said application/registration must be completed no later than six (6) weeks prior to the school opening in order to ensure the availability of any such reasonable accommodations or other required assistance during the Level 1 coaching school.

Instructors

Joel Pearson: Director of Cross Country, Track & Field at Harrier Track Club. Previously, Joel was the Director at Cardinal Stritch University. During his time, the Wolves captured six national champions, 34 all-Americans, 42 National Qualifiers, and set an NAIA National DMR record. A USATF Level 3 / IAAF Level V Academy Coach - Endurance, Joel holds USATF Level 2 certifications in Endurance, Combined Events, Sprint/Hurdles, Jumps, and Youth. He holds a Masters in Sport Management. 

Tony Veney: is currently the Director of track and field at Ventura College. Tony served as Director of track and field/cross country at North Carolina A&T State University (2011). While an assistant coach at UCLA (2003-2009), Coach Veney led 15 Bruins to either indoor or outdoor All-American status, six Pac-10 Champions and four NCAA West Regional titles. Prior to coaching at Portland State, Veney was an assistant men’s track coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of Oregon from 1998-2001.  He served as the Elite Junior Film Coordinator from 1987 to 2000 and Elite Senior Film Coordinator and Junior Elite Sprint/Hurdle Camp Clinician from 1988 to 2000. From 1987-1999, he was the Regional Sprint Coordinator. Tony is a USATF Level 1, 2 and 3 Clinician and certified USATF Master of Coaching.
 
Katie Adams: is in her second year at Wellesley College as the throws coach after debuting the throws program in 2015-2016. Previously, she coached for six years combined at Salem and Pelham High Schools and Pinkerton Academy.  She is an USATF Level 3 / IAAF Level V coach in the throws. Adams has also completed the Level 2 programs in the sprints/hurdles/relays & youth specialization. She has coached multiple division and state champions, as well as all-state selected athletes.
