All online and onsite registrations require a credit or debit card for payment. No cash or personal checks will be accepted.

Refund policy:  1/2 of the registration fee ($ 95.00) will be refunded after the pre- registration deadline and no refund will be given after the start date of the school.

Any student requesting ADA accommodations must make that request at the time of completing the application/registration, and support the request with the appropriate documentation sent to the Director of Coaching, terry.crawford@usatf.org. Said application/registration must be completed no later than six (6) weeks prior to the school opening in order to ensure the availability of any such reasonable accommodations or other required assistance during the Level 1 coaching school.

Instructors

David Pavlansky: was head boys' track and cross country coach at Boardman High School from 1999 –2010 and has over 30 years of coaching experience. Twice named OAT&CCC District 1 Boys' Track Coach of the Year, Dave received the 2007 Fred Daffler State Coach of the Year Award for Boys' Cross Country.  In his 11 years as a head coach, Boardman’s track teams won 6 league and 7 district championships, produced Indoor and Outdoor state champions and two Nike All-Americans while competing in 14 separate Nike/New Balance National Championships.  In 2007 he was among 10 sprint coaches selected nationwide to attend the USATF Emerging Elite Coaches' School in Orlando, Florida. Dave has USATF Level 2 certifications in Jumps, Endurance, and Sprints / Hurdles / Relays and he currently serves as USATF Regional Coordinator of Coaching Education for the Midwest.
 
Larry Judge: is an Assistant Professor of Physical Education and coordinator of the graduate coaching program at Ball State University. He has 18 years of Division I coaching experience with Indiana State University, the University of South Carolina, the University of Wyoming and the University of Florida. He is currently the USA Track & Field National Chairman for Coaching Education in the throwing events. He is also a Level III instructor for the International Association of Athletics Federation's (IAAF) Coaching Education Program and has coached more than 100 NCAA Division I All-Americans, including eight Olympians.
 
Shawn Venable: Assistant Coach-Liberty University. Shawn oversees the jumps and hurdle events. He has coached several All-Americans and conference champions in the sprinting and jumping events. Venable has earned three IAAF Level V/USATF Level 3 Coaching Education certifications (the highest attainable), in the jumping events (2013), sprints/hurdles events (2014) and the combined events (2015).
