All online and onsite registrations require a credit or debit card for payment. No cash or personal checks will be accepted.

Refund policy:  1/2 of the registration fee ($ 95.00) will be refunded after the pre- registration deadline and no refund will be given after the start date of the school.

Any student requesting ADA accommodations must make that request at the time of completing the application/registration, and support the request with the appropriate documentation sent to the Director of Coaching, Said application/registration must be completed no later than six (6) weeks prior to the school opening in order to ensure the availability of any such reasonable accommodations or other required assistance during the Level 1 coaching school.

Chris Richardson: Holds the position of Director of Track and Field/Cross-Country at Cerritos College, Norwalk where in his last four years has won 6 South Coast Conference Titles, 4 Southern California Regional Championships, and 2 State Championships. Other then the direct management and leadership of the Cerritos College Track and Field/Cross-Country program Richardson and personally developed 18 All-Americans, 6 State Champions, and aided the matriculation of 64 student athletes. Chris has taught USATF level 1 coaches education since 2011 and has directed numerous coaches education schools. Being a product of the USATF Coaching Education system by obtaining Level 1, 2, and 3 certifications, while staying involved in IAAF, NACAC, and Podium Education opportunities. Also, serving as Women's Coach for the 2015 Pan Am Combined Event Cup in Ottawa, CA and 2016 NACAC Championships U23 Throws Coach. 

Tony Veney: is currently the Director of men and women’s track and field at Ventura College. Tony served a short stint as Director of track and field/cross country at North Carolina A&T State University (2011). While an assistant coach at UCLA (2003-2009) Coach Veney led 15 Bruins to either indoor or outdoor All-American status, six Pac-10 Champions and four NCAA West Regional titles. Brandon Johnson most notably still ranks as the 5th fastest teenager all-time in the 400 intermediate hurdles as well as being a member of the World Record Junior 4x400 meter relay (2004). During his tenure at Portland State, the Vikings had 28 All-Big Sky Academic award winners. Prior to coaching at Portland State, Veney was an assistant men’s track coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of Oregon from 1998-2001. While with the Ducks, he worked with 2001 NCAA decathlon champion Lorenzo Santiago and 10 All-Pac-10 performers. He served as the Elite Junior Film Coordinator from 1987 to 2000 and Elite Senior Film Coordinator and Junior Elite Sprint/Hurdle Camp Clinician from 1988 to 2000. From 1987-1999, he was the Regional Sprint Coordinator. In 1999, he assumed the position of Women’s Sprint Development Chair. A USATF Level 1, 2 and 3 Clinician and certified USATF Master of Coaching, Veney has produced six sprint and hurdles training videos, and has written two sprint and hurdles training manuals and recently published a sprint/hurdle book called Conditioning for Track & Field, published by Human Kinetics.

Dave Bartholomew:  Head Cross Country/Track Coach at Deer Valley High School in Antioch. Coach Dave holds certifications in Level 2 Endurance as well as Youth Specialization, and is in the final stages of earning his Level 5 Endurance certification by the USATF/IAAF. Bartholomew is a certified USATF Instructor and has been an RRCA marathon Coach for several years. Coach Dave currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Pacific Association, USATF. In addition to his coaching, Dave is an avid distance/endurance runner and frequent age-group winner in the 100+ marathons he has completed.  He was educated at the University of Massachusetts and the University of Texas and continues to enjoy the challenge of completing his Master’s degree requirements.
