From the East: Take 1-80W toward Wisconsin/Iowa/IL-83. Merge onto I-355 N/Veterans Memorial Tollway via Exit 140 toward West Suburbs. Take the Maple Ave. exit. Keep left to take the ramp toward Lisle/Naperville. Turn left onto Maple Ave. Turn left onto College Rd.  5700 College Road is on the right.
 
From the West: Take I-88 East to and exit toward Naperville Rd. Turn right onto Freedom Drive and then left onto E. Diehl Rd. Turn right onto N. Naperville Rd./N. Naper Blvd/ N. Naperville Wheaton Rd. and continue to follow N. Naper Rd. Turn left onto Maple and right onto College. 5700 College Rd. is on the right.
 
From the South: Take I-65 N toward Chicago. Merge onto I-80 W/I-94 W/US-6 W via Exit 259A toward Chicago. Keep left to take I-80 W toward Wisconsin-Iowa/IL-83/Torrence Ave. Merge onto I-355 N/Veterans Memorial Tollway via Exit 140 toward West Suburbs. Take the Maple Ave. exit. Keep left to take the ramp toward Lisle/Naperville. Turn left onto Maple Ave. Turn left onto College Rd.  5700 College Road is on the right.
 
Goodwin Hall (listed as Building 83 on the campus map) is located in the center of campus. Parking is available in the lot just south of the main entrance or in the parking garage (#7 on the map).

Instructors

Joe Burgireno, spent nine seasons as the boys head coach at Romulus High School, with his teams placing in the top 20 at the state meet six of those nine years.  Prior to Romulus, Burgireno spent two years coaching girls pole vault for Ann Arbor Pioneer.  He has coached one relay and three individuals to state championships and has been a three-time finalist for MITCA’s D1 Boys Coach of the Year.  Joe also has USATF Level 2 certifications in sprints/hurdles/relays, jumps, throws and endurance. He is currently the boys and girls throws coach at Ann Arbor Pioneer.
 
David Pavlansky, was head boys' track and cross country coach at Boardman High School from 1999 –2010.  Twice named OAT&CCC District 1 Boys' Track Coach of the Year, Dave received the 2007 Fred Daffler State Coach of the Year Award for Boys' Cross Country.  In 2007, he was among 10 sprint coaches selected nationwide by the USATF to attend the Emerging Elite Coaches' School in Orlando, Florida.  During Dave’s tenure Boardman teams produced both Indoor and Outdoor state champions as well as two Nike All-Americans.  Dave has USATF Level 2 certifications in Jumps, Endurance, and Sprints / Hurdles / Relays and he currently serves as USATF Regional Coordinator of Coaching Education for the Midwest.
 
Toni Carmichael, MA Education, teaches science at the middle school level.  She has been involved in track and field since 1976 as an athlete or coach. Toni is IAAF Level 5 and USATF Level 3 certified in Jumps, and USATF Level 2 certified in Sprints, Hurdles, Relays, and Combined Events.  She has coached an Illinois high school state champion in pole vault, and coached many state qualifying athletes in pole vault, high jump, hurdles, and 800m.  Many of her athletes have become All-Americans and national qualifiers in the heptathlon, pole vault, high jump, 800m, 1500m, and 4x800m at the USATF club level.  She is currently the jumps specialist coach at North Park University in Chicago while continuing to teach and coach at the club level. 
 
Nathan Sweet, MA Science Education, Teaches science and coaches at Lake Forest High School.  Began competing in track in 1976 and started his coaching career in the fall of 1993. Nathan has his IAAF Level V certification and USATF Level 3 certification in Endurance, as well as Level 2 certification in the Sprints, Relays, and Hurdles.  During his coaching tenure he has coached State Champions (pole vault), multiple all state athletes (both CC and track), and has coached a qualifier in every track event except the shot put.  Nathan began a summer training program, with the help of Golden Legs Running, in the summer of 2014 in Mundelein, IL for adults looking to improve their 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon times. He is currently the Head Boys Cross Country Coach and Head Girls Track and Field Coach at Lake Forest High School.
