N.O.C. New Young Officials Grant

NOC To Again Sponsor Young Official Travel Grants

The National Officials Committee remains concerned about the number of

young officials who are not able to travel to officiate USATF national

championship meets.  The Committee recognizes the financial commitment

each official makes in order to travel to and officiate these national level

meets.  The Committee has investigated a number of options designed to

assist young officials with financial assistance in order to obtain the

experience necessary to become effective officials at national level meets.

The NOC has agreed to assist 15 younger officials who would like to serve as

officials at National Championships in 2018.  These championships include

the following:

expenses involved when officiating these meets.
