Weekend Roundup - May 6, 2019


— North Carolina A&T dominated the MEAC Championships behind a slew of superb performances. Kayla White, the NCAA indoor champion at 200m in March, sped to a world-leading 10.96 in the 100m and added a 22.52 in the 200m. White also helped her team to a 43.45 win in the 4x100. For the A&T men, Trevor Stewart clocked 44.38 in the 400m, the ninth-fastest ever by an American collegian. Rodney Rowe won the sprint double in 10.05/20.12, with his 200m the fastest by an American in 2019.


— American record holder DeAnna Price set a season best and had the second-best throw in the world this season with her 75.74m/248-6 to win the hammer at Indiana’s Hayes Invitational.


Kellyn Taylor finished fourth at the Prague Marathon in 2:26:27.
