DeAnna Price breaks American hammer record

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho -- Rio Olympian DeAnna Price threw over 77m twice at the Ironwood Classic to break Gwen Berry’s American record by nearly a meter with a toss of 77.65m/254-9. Her pending American record ranks fifth on the world all-time list and leads the 2018 world hammer throw list by 1.39m.  


Jenny Simpson & Sam Kendricks win the mile and pole vault at FBK games

HENGELO, Netherlands -- Jenny Simpson won the women’s mile at the FBK games with a time of 4:25.71 to establish a world lead. 2017 World Champion Kendricks also found success in Hengelo, clearing 5.81m/19-¾” in the pole vault for the win.


Caitlin Collier clocks the fastest 800m time by a U.S. junior this year

NASHVILLE, Tennessee -- Bolles High School senior Caitlin Collier held her own in an elite 800m field, running an impressive 2:00.85 at the Music City Distance Carnival. Her time ranks Collier number four on the all-time high school girls 800m list and was the fastest by a U.S. U20 runner this year.


Anna Hall breaks high school heptathlon record by a large margin

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico -- Valor Christian High School’s Anna Hall crushed the U.S. high school heptathlon record by over 200 points. The junior accrued 5,798 points over two days at the 43rd annual Great Southwest Classic. The former record of 5,578 was set by 2016 olympian and NCAA champion Kendell Williams at the 2012 U20 Championships.


Anthony Schwartz doubles up at Great Southwest Classic

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico -- American Heritage (FL) senior Anthony Schwartz packed a one-two punch at the Great Southwest Classic as he won the 100m and 200m. His 100m time of 10.09 was a personal best, and put him at number four all-time among U.S. high schoolers. The Auburn football commit later went on to win the 200m in 20.49, just shy of his personal best.

Maria Michta-Coffey & Nick Christie win USATF 10km Race Walk National Championships

EL CAJON, California -- 2018 USATF Indoor champion Nick Christie won the men’s race at the USATF Race Walk 10K Championships with a time of 42:24.28. Christie narrowly beat Andreas Gustaffson of Sweden, who finished in 42:32.16. American record holder Maria Michta-Coffey clocked a time of 45:45.62 to win the women’s race, just ahead of IAAF World Race Walking Championships teammate Miranda Melville in 46:45.77.
