INDIANAPOLIS – Mark Quinn
, Chief Risk Officer of First Allied Securities, Inc., has been named as a Director of the USA Track & Field Foundation Board, USATF Foundation Executive Director Tom Jackovic
and Chairman Bob Greifeld
Headquartered in San Diego, First Allied is a broker-dealer and investment adviser providing securities brokerage and advisory services to investors in all 50 states. Mark, a 30-year securities industry veteran, joined First Allied in February, 2010 and has responsibility for the Legal, Compliance, and Supervision departments of the firm.
“I have been involved in track & field as an athlete and spectator for virtually all of my life,“ noted Quinn. “Over the past 10 or 15 years, the support network for young athletes and recent college graduates has not been sufficient to allow many of them to develop to their full potential. The USATF Foundation exists primarily to provide that guidance and support, and I’m looking forward to being involved.”
Prior to joining First Allied, Mr. Quinn was the General Counsel of Royal Alliance Associates, a broker-dealer and investment adviser subsidiary of American International Group, Inc. He also spent several years practicing law in New York City, where his practice concentrated on representation of broker-dealers, investment advisers, and registered representatives in arbitration, litigation, and regulatory matters. Mark is a member of the Colorado, New York, and Florida bars.

The Foundation depends upon donations from its Board of Directors, major gifts, and from generous fans of track & field.
Elite athletes are supported by the Foundation via monetary grants, career counseling (mentoring and jobs) and participation in Run with US! (www.rwus-now.org
