KT Tape named Official Tape Sponsor of USATF


LOS ANGELES -- USA Track & Field on Friday welcomed KT Tape, the leading producer of kinesiology tape and related sports medicine products in the retail market, to the USATF partnership family as the Official Tape Sponsor of USATF. The partnership, which extends through 2020, will provide product for use by USATF athletes during training and in competition in addition to extending discounts to USATF members.


Designed for muscle, ligament and tendon pain relief and support, KT Tape products will be made available to athletes at USATF National Championship events, and stocked in all USATF National Team medical kits. USATF members will also receive a discount on KT Tape purchases.


“Our partnership with KT Tape is another example of USATF working to provide benefits to a broad base of our competitive athletes, from youth to masters, as well as to our members,” USATF CEO Max Siegel said. “This partnership will help keep USATF athletes performing at a high level and give all members an opportunity to benefit from KT Tape’s products.”


USATF annually fields nearly 20 national teams and conducts upwards of 60 national championship events, from youth to masters, in track & field, long-distance running and race walking.
