INDIANAPOLIS — Thirteen years ago Alan Webb broke the 4-minute mark for the first time. From that time until now, he has set the American Record in the Mile and showed he can run very well over many different distances - ranging from the 800 to the 5000. Two weeks ago at the Millrose Games, Alan took the track as a professional runner for the last time.
USATF.tv and Executive Producer Max Siegel chronicle the final weeks of Alan’s professional track career and takes a look back at the remarkable accomplishments of a then-teenage Webb as he navigated the ups and downs of a professional track career and starts his transition into the triathlon circuit.
In this mini documentary, fans gain insight into Alan’s thoughts about his career, if he has any regrets, and what is next for the fastest miler in U.S. history.
USATF.tv was launched in 2013 and serves as USATF’s official portal for online broadcasts of meets and events.
