Events in bold will be contested at the Championships.  Events listed directly below those being contested may be used as alternates for qualifying.  See Qualifying Guidelines below for full details.

If a club wishes to enter only one athlete in an individual event, no standard applies.  For seeding purposes, the entry mark must still be verifiable.  If a club wishes to enter two or more athletes in an individual event, ALL athletes representing that club in that event MUST meet the standards listed above.  Athletes competing unattached MUST meet the standards listed above.
2.      All qualifying performances for running events must be made on a standard indoor or a 400m outdoor track.  For the 10,000m, 10k road race times and half marathon road times are acceptable from USATF certified courses on file in the on-line USATF course repository.  For the 5000m race walk, road walk times are acceptable from USATF certified courses where some form of judging was present.
3.      Qualifying marks must be made in accordance with USATF Rule 149 and verifiable in one of the following events:
         a.      USATF- or IAAF-sanctioned events that prescribe to or exceed USATF competition rules;
         b.      events at collegiate meets that prescribe to or exceed USATF competition rules; or
         c.      high school meets above the level of dual and triangular meets.
4.      All qualifying marks must be attained during the qualifying windows shown above, from the day of the national club meet the previous year to the Sunday before this year's meet.
5.      Fully automatic timing (F.A.T.) is the only method of timing acceptable for qualifying marks for events equal to or shorter than 400 meters.  For seeding purposes, hand times in the 800-meters will have .14 added to the submitted and verified time.
6.      If electronic timing was used in the meet, only the official electronic time listed in the results may be used for entry in ANY event.  A manual time may be used for qualifying for events of 800 meters and longer only if F.A.T. was not used during the meet, and the manual time appears in the official results.
7.      All performances are subject to verification.  Entry marks must be verifiable by their posting on the internet (at the official meet website or within a known results-gathering website such as TFRRS).
8.      There are no qualifying standards for relays, but only the 'A" team will be eligible to score team points, provided they meet the minimum relay scoring standards:

9.      The Games Committee will adjust the standards, if necessary, forty-five (45) days prior to the competition, based on received entries at the time.  If an athlete is close to the standard, it is advisable to enter the athlete with the mark prior to the 45 day time frame so that the Games Committee is aware of such marks as they make their adjustments.
