IAAF World Race Walk Cup Trials

The 2012 IAAF World Cup Team Trials is judged race walking competition that will select the athletes who will represent the U.S.A. at the 25th edition of the IAAF World Race Walking Cup, in Saransk, Russia, on 12 & 13 May, 2012. To be selected athletes must be U.S. citizens eligible to represent the U.S. in international competitions. The selection procedures are here.
Guest competitors (foreign and non-US citizens) may compete in this event, and may enter by contacting the meet director. USA citizens are to enter online at the USATF Web Site. All entrants must be able to complete a 20k prior to course closure 2:20 minutes after the start of the women's race.
This competition will comply with the requirements established by the IAAF for the acceptance of an Olympic Games or World Cup qualifying "A" or "B" stand mark. The course is AIMS level II certified and a minimum of three (3) IAAF level II & III judges will be officiating at the competition.
The event is being hosted by the Oregon Association and the Northwest Race Walkers TC with the cooperation of the University of Oregon, the City of Eugene and the Chamber of Commerce.
