Additional Guidelines
  1. All performances for running events must be made on a standard indoor or 400m outdoor track.
  2. Marks must be made and verifiable in a competition with at least five athletes competing in the given event.
  3. All marks must be attained on or after Monday, July 4, 2011 through the meet's entry deadline.
  4. Times shown above are Fully Automatic Timing (F.A.T.) times. A manual time may also be used for qualifying. Qualifying manual times are always the F.A.T. qualifying time minus the last zero for events 800m and longer, the F.A.T time minus 0.14 for events 300m-400m, and the F.A.T time minus 0.24 for events 200m and shorter.
  5. Times submitted in hundredths of a second must be F.A.T. times. Hand times must be rounded up to the next tenth of a second.
  6. Composite scores may be computed for combined events using point scores for the athlete's best performance in each individual event contested after July 4, 2011.  
  7. Imperial conversions for metric field event marks can be computed using the field event mark conversion calculator.

    **The above performance guidelines are suggestions for being competitive in the Championships (i.e. place top 8 in the finals). Athletes who have not achieved a guideline may enter the event with a different mark or enter “NM (No Mark)” or “NT (No Time).” **
