About Mike
After finishing second for four years in a row, Hazle claimed his first USA Outdoor title in the javelin. He ended the 2008 campaign ranked #1 in the U.S. by Track & Field News for the first time in his career. As a student-athlete at Texas State University, Hazle showed his potential with an enormous personal best his senior year of 235-7, which improved his all-time best by an amazing 25 feet from his previous best mark from his junior year. Hazle owns a B.S. degree in Exercise Sports Science and Business and a Master’s degree in Sports Management from Texas State University.
