About Jason
Jason Richardson made a statement as one of the world's best by winning a World Outdoor title in 2011 and a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympic Games. He was part of a 1-2 American sweep in London with world record holder Aries Merrit taking gold.  Richardson turned professional in 2009 and elected to focus solely on the high hurdles. He also ran the intermediate hurdles in high school where he recorded the third-fastest high school time ever in the 400m hurdles. He was involved with the debate team growing up. He was awarded the McKissick Scholarship to attend South Carolina where he enrolled in sports and entertainment management.
