Jimoh's third-place finish at the 2011 USA Outdoor Championships qualified her for the second World Championships of her career. Jimoh made her first Olympic Team after finishing third at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials. Got her 2008 season started off right with a personal best 6.91m/22-8 in winning the Bayou Classic…full name is Oluwafunmilayo (Yoruba for "the lord brought me joy") Kemi Jimoh… philosophy and English major while at Rice.
