About Charles
Jock put an exclamation point on an already impressive junior season at UC-Irvine, as he took third at USA Outdoors, putting him on Team USA at the 2011 IAAF World Championships. This was only his second appearance on the international stage as he also competed at the 2010 NACAC U-23 Championships. During his high school days at Mission Bay High School in San Diego, Calif., Jock claimed state championships in two different sports. In 2007, he was a member of the basketball team that won the Division II CIF Championship. Then in 2008, he was crowned the CIF state champion in the 800m. He studies urban and regional policy planning and design at UC-Irvine.
