About Dan
Dan Huling finds himself in the middle of an emerging event in American distance running with the steeplechase. Among the best in the country, Huling made World Outdoor Championships appearances in 2009 and 2011. He enjoyed the finest season of his young career in 2010 highlighted by winning the 3,000m steeplechase at the 2010 USA Outdoor Championships and posting his personal best time with his fourth-place finish in Lausanne in 8:13.29, which was the fastest time by an American that season. Duling graduated from Miami of Ohio in 2006 with a marketing degree. He recorded an outstanding high school career in both track & field and cross-country. The high school standout earned all-conference honors all four years of high school. In addition to that, he was named all state during his sophomore and senior years and all Midwest during his senior year.
