Director of Sales

Reporting to the Chief Public Affairs Officer, this position will work closely with the CEO and Chief Public Affairs Officer to generate new revenue for the company and market the USA Track & Field (USATF) brand. The Director of Sales will be responsible for managing USATF sponsor and partner sales efforts, including prospecting, proposal preparation and presentation, contract negotiation, fulfillment and upselling. Reporting to the Director of Sales are USATF’s Marketing Account Manager and Marketing Coordinator.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years in corporate, media and sponsor sales
  • Minimum 5 years in supervisory capacity
  • Demonstrated success in selling corporate sponsorships and partnerships, preferably in a sports environment
  • Robust resources of corporate contacts

Salary

Base plus commission
