Events and High Performance Manager
Veronica Rodriguez arrived at USA Track & Field in October of 2012 and currently serves as events coordinator. In her role, Rodriguez assists with logistical details for all USATF events. Her duties include providing support for the planning and execution of the USA Championship Series meets and USATF’s annual meeting. She also works as a liaison for championships for both the long distance running sport committees and councils and the youth department.
Following a high performance internship with USATF in the summer of 2008, Rodriguez previously spent four years as an assistant men’s and women’s track and field and cross country coach with the University of Miami.
A native of Robstown, Texas, Rodriguez graduated from Texas A&M Kingsville with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in 2008 and was named the Lone Star Conference Freshman of the Year in cross country.
Rodriguez currently lives in Indianapolis and enjoys working out and watching professional football and college sports in her spare time.
