Katie Branham

After working within the communications department as a coordinator with USA Track & Field since February of 2011, Katie Branham was promoted to marketing and communications manager in August of 2012. In her current role, Branham serves as the organization’s point person for all social media, which includes Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Additionally, she works to update website content including writing press releases and updating athlete biographies.

Branham served as the website intern for USATF in the summer of 2006 before being hired as the organization’s internet publishing coordinator in the fall of 2008 and eventually moving to the integrated marketing and communications department. Before beginning her full-time stint at USATF, Branham lived and worked in Moose, Wyo., inside the Grand Teton National Park.

A native of Birmingham, Ala., Branham earned a bachelor’s degree in communications in 2008 from Berry College in Mount Berry, Ga., where she also competed on the school’s track and field and cross country teams.

She was married in the spring of 2012 and currently lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Luke, and enjoys doing things outdoors in her spare time.
