Dorothy Hawkins began working at USATF’s national office in September of 2007 as the organization’s travel agent and is a representative of National Travel Systems, which are based out of Lubbock, Texas. She works with all departments to book and coordinate air travel and hotels to various domestic and international meets as well as meetings and coach’s training sessions. In a single year Hawkins will book an average of more than 2,500 airline tickets.
Hawkins features more than 20 years of experience working within the travel industry. She also handles travel for the Indianapolis Indians. Before arriving at USATF, Hawkins spent 19 years working with Ross & Babcock Travel/The Travel Authority handling travel for a mix of corporate, leisure and groups, working as an office manager and branch manager coordinator.
Hawkins received an associate degree in travel management from Indiana Business College in 1988.
She currently lives in Indianapolis and has two kids, Devin (19) and Megan (15).
