Marketing and Communications Manager
Christa comes to USATF after 18 months as a marketing communications coordinator for the U.S. Olympic Committee, where she assisted with marketing and communications efforts for Olympians and hopefuls leading up to the London 2012 and Sochi 2014 Olympic Games. Christa was a part of the USOC staff at the 2012 Olympic Games, working as the USA House Media Coordinator in London.
Christa spent three years heading marketing and communications with the Atlanta Beat women’s professional soccer team, where she promoted league-wide and special event marketing campaigns, served as a team and stadium media contact, and formed relationships with six different national teams.
She also worked as an on-air analyst for women’s college soccer after internships at WXIA-TV (NBC), Turner Sports and the Atlanta Falcons.
Christa is an accomplished soccer player, having played at Georgia State University, where she started every game of her career and served as a team captain for two seasons. After graduating with her degree in journalism from GSU, she went on to play a year of professional soccer in Iceland, becoming the club’s first foreign player to earn Player of the Year. Mann also has her masters in sport administration from Ohio University.
In her role at USATF, Christa is responsible for public relations and multicultural outreach, while also assisting with day-to-day duties such as press releases, updating athlete bios and coordinating media interviews. She works primarily with youth and masters athletes.
Born in Colorado, Christa spent most of her life in Atlanta, Ga., and she now resides in Indianapolis.
