Brenton Nickerson

Merchandise and Events Analyst Email

Brenton maximizes the profits of USATF through understanding store category sales, supervising physical inventory, identifying trends, and monitoring the timing and scope of seasonal changes. Brenton researches the feasibility of the Merchandise department event attendance throughout the year, using event data to determine the strength, weakness, opportunities, and targets of an event - helping to eliminate unprofitable events while seeking events that will drive more revenue for USATF.

Brenton develops a comprehensive USATF schedule, while managing a 120-day planning cycle to help streamline USATF travel and activations. He assists in the inventory, ordering and fulfillment of national team orders.

Before arriving at USATF, Brenton served as a graduate assistant with the Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport along with being a sales specialist with Dillard’s Inc.
Brenton earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and with a minor in business administration from Florida A&M in Tallahassee in 2008. He then earned a masters of business administration and a masters of sports business management from the University of Central Florida in Orlando in 2012.

Brenton currently lives in Indianapolis and enjoys reading, watching sports and listening to music in his spare time.
