Alejandra Diaz-Labrecque began her role in the newly created position of associate director of sales and marketing with USA Track & Field in February of 2013. In her current role, Diaz-Labrecque identifies and leads opportunities for unique sales pitches, creates new fulfillment programs and works closely with Chief Executive Officer, Max Siegel, and Chief Public Affairs Officer, Jill Geer, on overall sales and sponsorship for USATF.
Before arriving at the national office, Diaz-Labrecque served as manager of multicultural development at NASCAR where she managed a $2.7 million budget to develop diverse and female drivers and crew members. Her initiatives led to the development of the first Spanish language marketing platform, Bienvenidos a NASCAR. The program included radio and TV spots, grass roots activations, concerts and bilingual collateral among other elements.
Her other experience includes creating Latin Key Consulting to provide multicultural marketing solutions for businesses pursuing the Hispanic market sector. Diaz-Labrecque’s experience also includes a stint with the NBA’s Orlando Magic where she was responsible for radio, TV and print ads, as well as developing a Spanish language marketing campaign.
Diaz-Labrecque has been a guest speaker at several community functions including the U.S. Army’s “What Makes You Strong” Leadership Series and at various capacities at NASCAR and at Notre Dame.
She earned a B.A. in Finance from Notre Dame where she was a four-year letter winner and captain of the golf team. She holds her MBA and Masters in Sports Business Management from Central Florida.
