Aaron Hood began his career as USA Track & Field’s Director of Finance in March of 2013 where he is responsible for oversight of all of the organization’s finances.
Hood comes to USATF where he was the chief financial officer for the City of Indianapolis’ Information Services Agency where he managed a $31 million annual budget. He recently was project director for activities related to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation that was a three-year, $16 million project.
Prior to working at ISA, he served as controller at Southwest Electric Co-op in Bolivar, Mo.
Previously, while at Duck Creek Technologies, also in Bolivar, Mo., Hood was in several roles including controller, marketing director and business analyst.
Hood graduated Summa Cum Laude with his B.S. in accounting from Southwest Baptist University. He holds two masters degrees from the same institution, an M.S. degree in health services administration and later, a master’s of business administration where he graduated with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.
Hood is an avid volleyball player, enjoys running, golf and basketball.
